Objective: Equip graduates from higher learning institutions and polytechnics with practical work experience that is relevant to their field of study. This programme is also designed to equip university graduates with the skills, knowledge and experience needed to successfully transition from academic studies to the workplace. 

Eligibility: Rwandans who have graduated from higher learning institutions and polytechnics. 

Required documents: ID, CV, degree, or any other certification proving that all academic requirements have been fulfilled. 

Validity of the application: Applicants can apply no later than one year after graduation. 

Duration: The professional internship lasts for six months, with a possibility of an additional six months depending on the field of education. 

Transportation Facilitation: Frw 50,000 monthly, but we encourage host institutions to provide additional support. 

Application process: Application is done by both interns and employers through www.rdb.rw, under the E-Services section, where applicants can apply for a professional internship. 

Host Institutions: Public institutions and private institutions, including private companies, NGOs, civil society organizations, among others.
